Hellsing

Arucard (is also spelled Arkard, or Alurcard)
Arkard is the main character in this frightening anime. He is very cocky, and seems to not have any respect for his opponents. His look is quite similar to Vash the Stampede, and Legato Bluesummers (IMO). Arkard is a 'true' vampire, in the sense that he wasn't turned into a vampire by a 'freak chip'. Being a 'true' vampire he is extremely power, and seems to have no known weakness. He is a member of the Hellsing institute, and helps in the cause to eliminate the 'none human' elements and to protect the humans. The strange thing about this is that he is a vampire, and he kills his own kind. He never mentions how he came about becoming a member of Hellsing, but he seems to have a great devotion to it, especially to Sir Integral and Walter. Besides having a virtually unlimited power, he uses two special crafted guns to kill the ghouls of the anime. As the anime unfolds we see more of his true nature of being a 'true' vampire.

Victoria Celes
Victoria is first seen as a human, and was a London police officer, in the special D11 unit. She and the rest of her unit was sent on an assignment where they run into some ghouls. Her entire unit is whipped out, and she is the only one left. While investigating she is held hostage by a renegade minister turned vampire. This is where she meets Arkard, and this is the point where she gives up her life as a human, and to live forever as one of the undead. Unlike the other vampires in the series, she is like Arkard in that she is a 'true' vampire, and not artificial. She is sent to Hellsing where she becomes an elite soldier. As a vampire she has massive strength, and sight, but she has trouble trying to deal with what she has become. Arkard is now her new master, and tries to help her cope with what she has become.

Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing
Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing is the head honcho in the Hellsing Institution. The Institution has been in her family for generations and her family has made many enemies, human, and non-human. She is also a member of the royal round table of knights, which is not really knight like in old time, but mostly the head executives of government agencies that server the Queen. She is very serious, and not much is known about her past. Only thing that we can say for sure is that she is devoted to her country, and to the cause of ridding the world of evil.

Walter Kum Dorne
Walter Kum Dorne is a steward at Hellsing. He is devoted to Sir Integral and in the beginning he is in charge of making sure Victoria gets used to living on Hellsing now. He also makes sure things are running smoothly in Hellsing altogether. He has been with Hellsing for a long time serving under Integrals father. He looks like an old timer, but you shouldn't let that fool you. He used to be a Hellsing soldier, and his weapon of choice is a special glove that generates some twine, or cable. He uses these to tie his opponents, and even to cut them into pieces. To show how deadly he can be, his nickname that he goes by is 'Angel of Death'. ridding the world of evil.

Alexander Anderson
Anderson is from Italy and is a priest and fighter in The 13th Division of the Pope's Special Task Force Escoliate Division. He is human, but has some powers that make him a little more than human. He is able to regenerate limbs, and body parts. He also has the ability to vanish, and to move and quick speeds. He has a very strong hate for Arkard, and feels that his duty is to not only eliminate the undead, but to kill any members of Hellsing, since he and the Vatican think that Hellsing is no better then the ghouls. His weapon of choice are some lethal blades that he seems to have a infinite amount off.

Incognito
Incognito is a 'true' vampire like Arkard. Arkard is extremely happy when he finds out that another true vampire like him has appeared. Incognito is alien looking, but by just looks alone you can see he is an exact match in power to Arkard. His weapon is a machine gun/cannon like thing called an ArmsCorp. He is with Bubbancy, and he too has his master who has ordered them to eliminate Hellsing. When Incognito is shown he gets the first win over Arkard by keeping him away from Integral while Bubbancy does her work..

Valentine Brothers
The Valentine brothers are two freaky evil brothers that are artificial. It isn't known, but they are ordered to invade the Hellsing mansion, and to eliminate all Hellsing members. One brother is named Yan, and he is the younger one. The other one's name isn't mentioned, but he is older, and seems to be the more serious one. When they break into Hellsing with their ghoul army, Yan is the one who pushes into Hellsing and begins killing and turning Hellsing soldiers into ghouls. The other one goes after Arkard. They do some heavy damage but when it is all said and done Yan ends up killing himself when he is being questioned about who his master is. The other brother is killed by Arkard in this battle shows some signs of being a truly evil vampire.

Furgusson
Furguson is a Captain and control one of the special units of Hellsing. He is very old, but seems to have great knowledge about war tactics. Not much is known about him, except that he serves his country and Hellsing well. He also helps Victoria cope with being a vampire in a human unit.

Enrico Maxwell
Enrico Maxwell is the Vatican's Special Duty Agency Section 13, Escoliate Division Superintendent Priest. He has asked Integral to met with him in a muesum. In the meeting his purpose is to mock and tell Integral some information about the 'freak chip' and who might be distributing them. He seems to have a good nature, but he also seems to very corrupt in how he may do things.

Helena
Helena is a young girl that Harry Anders goes to ask for help. She is a vampire, and she hints that she has been a vampire for a very long time, maybe even back to the days of the first vampire. She seems very caring, and very sad. For as long as she has been a vampire she has grown tired of not being able to die, and keeps to herself in her house. in how he may do things.

Laura Indes aka Bubbancy
Laura Indes, when she is introduced is introduced as Integral's younger sister. It is all a ruse though, since Laura is a vampire that has been plotting revenge on Hellsing family for years. Laura, whose real name is Bubbancy, has her friends killed by the Hellsing agency, so she was set up as Integral's sister to get revenge. She does manage to get her revenge, as she is able to bite Integral before Arkard is able to stop her.

Harry Anders
Harry Anders is from the National Defense Department. He is investigating the freak chip fiasco. He is a overall nice guy who used to work with Victoria's father, and asks her for help in solving this puzzle. in how he may do things.
