Episode 1: Depth/Space
This show starts off right away. A tour is going on at GOTT(Galactic
Organization of Trades and Tariffs) HQ, when some cyborgs burst in and create
havoc. Just as things are looking bad, the two young receptionists spring into
action. The youngest one, shuts off the lights, and the other one begins to
attack the borgs with her fists. She appears to have super strength and easily
handles the cyborgs. Everyone is in awe, and as an excuse they say the whole
altercation was a stunt to demonstrate GOTT techniques. The two girls are named
Eclair(red-head), and Lumiere(young, purple-haired). They are talking to their
supervisor, who assigns them a mission. Eclair and Lumiere are part of an
organization called GOTT, which main function is to enforce the laws of space.
Eclair and Lumiere are ordered to escort an Inspector Armbrust to the Planet
Medeia. There is some commotion between the Planets Fanus and Medeia and to
prevent a war, Eclair and Lumiere are there to make sure things go smoothly.
They take off as ordered, and they soon run into trouble as some space pirates
start to attack them. Just as can be expected with GOTT...the machines Eclair
and Lumiere are using are high-tech and easily defeated the pirates.
As they get closer to Medeia there is some trouble brewing. An Admiral from
Medeia is trying to prevent the delegate from Fanus from reaching Medeia. There
are hopes that a war with Fanus, will be the best thing for Medeia to gain the
sympathy support. To stop this Éclair, and Lumiere hijack the ship and through
the powers of Lumiere and her ship, Whirbelwind, they are able to stop the
corrupt Admiral from causing a huge war. Things soon return to normal. Medeia
and Fanus had a peace treaty and both countries didn't lose face. Eclair and
Lumiere have more instore for them, but this was just the introduction to this
great series.
Episode 2: Tight/Bind
Two other ES-Members, Alv and Dvergr, are introduced. They are above Lumiere and
Eclair when it comes to status in GOTT. They were on a case where they captured
some people who were distributing a highly illegal substance called Hi-G, which
is an anti-gravity matter. Problems arise when the capsule that the Hi-G was
supposed to be in turns out to be empty upon arrival to GOTT HQ. The GOTT
supervisors, Mel, sends Alv, and Dvergr to a Global Cage prison to find out more
information. To assist them, Mel has assigned Lumiere and Eclair to be their
backups. When they arrive at the Global Cage, they are met with a deserted
place. Armbrust has accompanied Eclair, and has stayed behind to watch the ship.
As the four girls are looking over the prison, a gravity bomb is set off from
deep inside the prison which causes the prison to collapse. Alv, and Dvergr take
off, leaving Eclair and Lumiere stuck in the gravity. There are in for a
surprise when Alv and Dvergr return to there ship they find that it is missing.
Armbrust has taken the ship, and appears to have betrayed GOTT.
When Eclair rescues Lumiere from some falling ruble, they make their way back to
the La Muse, and find that Alv and Dvergr have taken it. When Alv notices that
Armbrust took their ship, she took the La Muse since she suspected that Lumiere,
and Éclair would be dead. She was wrong, and luckily the La Muse is connected in
a way to Lumiere so the ship won't leave without them. Eventually Eclair and
Lumiere get back on the La Muse, and find out what happened with Armbrust.
Armbrust has left to some unknown location and is making a deal with a guy to
buy the illegal Hi-G. Just as the deal seems to be taking shape, Eclair appears
and destroys the party. It was all a setup, and Armbrust didn't really turn his
back on GOTT. Eclair, and Lumiere stop the boss, and his robots, while Alv and
Dvergr make the arrest. Armbrust ends up disappearing again in all the confusion
and gives the Hi-G to some guy. It turns out that Armbrust was trying to help
out some space colonies. In certain parts of the universe, places have weak
gravity systems which makes it hard for people to have children. With the Hi-G
these colonies will be able to provide artificial gravity and make people's
dreams come true.
Episode 3: Prisoner/Escort!
In a joint venture with the Planet Colce, GOTT is transferring a high profile
criminal to the Galactic Central Prison. Eclair is the head of the GOTT escort
system, and a military officer is running things for the Colce end. the Captain
from Colce is very disjointed and it appears that he doesn't like Eclair or
Lumiere. Lumiere doesn't pay any attention, but Eclair is really bothered by it.
She tries to make friends with the Captain, but he avoids communication with
Eclair. The Captian's wife, and children were all killed by the criminal they
are escorting, and since that time he has been different. Also on the Captains
minds is that lately a lot of dangerous things have been going on with ships. An
insurance company has been hijacking ships in order to establish claims and gain
the money. It's an underground things, and is only known to a few people.
Just as they are three hours away from transporting their prisoner, the
insurance company has penetrated the ship. It turns out the some of the Colce
police force that were on the ship, were double agents and worked for the
insurance company. The succeed in releasing the prisoner escort, but they were
also hired to kill the criminal. There is a huge fight going on the ship, that
is being handled by Éclair. Lumiere meanwhile is taking care of the massive
fleet of insurance company ships surrounding the transport. She uses La Muse and
the little ship totally wipes out the entire fleet with lasers and bombs. It's
another happy ending, the Captain has gained more respect for Éclair, and
Lumiere/Éclair manage to finish their mission.
Episode 4: High/Speed
Éclair and Lumiere are investigating the illegal selling of cyborgs technology
to humans as a form of augmentation. A man by the name of Carvo has stolen
technology from the United Government that is top secret, and it is suspected
someone has been augmented with this technology. Eclair has entered a fighting
tournament to try to discover an unusual people who are using higher the normal
technological augmentations. She soon finds out a woman by the name of Foxy
might be the one she is looking for. Foxy fought a match and she had super
speed, and strength, just like Eclair. Something that a advanced fighter
wouldn't be able to have. Eclair tries to find out who made the augmentation to
Foxy, but she does she finds the culprit dead. She is soon discovered and an
alert is spread throughout the arena that an GOTT ES-Members is around.
Eclair is running after Foxy and finally catches up to her. Foxy attempts to use
her new powers, but she is unpleasantly surprised to see that Eclair has the
exact same powers she has, maybe even more. Foxy was indeed augmented by Carvo,
and she wonders if Eclair was augmented also. Eclair never acknowledged if she
ever recieved augmentation, but before Foxy can ask any more questions they are
attacked. The arenas cyborgs are all after Foxy, and Eclair and a huge chase is
going down. It all ends when Eclair is up against her former opponent from the
tournament. Earlier Eclair fought and beat this weakling of a guy. It turns out
the guy is actually a cyborg of incredible power. Foxy helps Eclair beat the
borg, and they escape to the La Muse. Foxy isn't going to keep her powers, but
she is still augmented to an extent. A few days later, Foxy won the GCAA
championship, without her top secret government powers, but she has no
remembrance of what happened.
Episode 5: Day/Off
Today is Eclair's and Lumiere's day off. They each spend it away from each other
doing different things. Eclair is out with a friend of hers and they are going
out to a fancy restaurant to eat. Lumiere has plans to attend a Opera. At GOTT
there is an investigation underway about a group of individuals who are leaking
information about insider economic situations(stocks). They all the information
they need, but have no idea where the scheduled meeting is taking place. As luck
would have it the meeting is taking place at the restaurant Eclair is at. No one
knows Eclair is really an officer of GOTT. Most people think she is a regular
receptionist, so she has to keep her powers in check. After a misunderstanding
the group of illegal informants begin to have a shoot out, with Eclair in the
middle. Everyone escapes, but luckily, Eclair is able to stay behind to deal
with the cyborgs. At the opera Lumiere has just arrived, when she notices a
little girl crying. Lumiere goes over to help, when the girl stops crying. The
girl's appearance shocks Lumiere, and before she can do anything the little girl
kisses, Lumiere and Lumiere falls to the ground motionless, as the girl stares
at her, with two men along side her.
Lumiere wakes up in a ship that is about to take off. She is locked in a
container, but she easily escapes using her powers. She is surrounded by other
children, and she tapes into the lines of the ship to find out what is going on.
It turns out Lumiere was captured by a group called Laughin'Jester, which was
one of the groups that was in the restaurant that got into the fight with the
informants. Eclair meanwhile, was captured by the other group. So it's a weird
situation, since by accident Eclair caused the two organizations to fight. All
hell breaks lose over the city, but this time Lumiere takes over and takes over
the ship, and takes over the informants ships..including the ship Eclair was on.
Eclair and Lumiere finally meet up, by accident, and finish off the rest of the
men and everyone finally get arrested. Laughin'Jester, was a group that would
kidnap children and hypnotize them. There plans were long term and the effects
of the hypnotism wouldn't work until the children become adults. The children
are from political, well to do families. So it was with the hypnotism, that the
children would helping out the Jester's by gaining power in the future.
Episode 6: Twin/Star
There is a great worry going on at the Planet Satyros. Many different government
officials have been trying to transfer important documents, but every time they
arrive at their destination, the case with all the files is empty. No one
remembers anything, and everyone is starting to wonder how someone is able to
steal the documents. GOTT is now getting involved and has sent two new
ES-Members, Dextera and Sinistra, to carry the case of documents. With these two
ES members doing the transfer, it is assumed that the documents will reach the
destinations as planned. What ends up happening is that Dextera and Sinistra are
just a diversion. Eclair, posing as her receptionist self, and an SO-Member, Ms.
Pudushka, from GOTT are carrying the documents. This just shows how secret the
ES members identify are kept. Everyone assumes Eclair is a regular receptionist.
They are on the shuttle, and right away the commotion starts. Eclair has a
sensor and it immidiatley sense sleeping gas being poured from the overhead air
conditioner. Eclair is prepared and her and Ms. Pudushka aren't effected by the
sleeping gas. Just as everyone falls into a deep sleep, the shuttle is boarded
from below by Orbital Officers, who try to get the case of documents. While
Pudushka is distracted, Eclair uses her powers to eliminate the officers. Eclair
assumes that the pilot of the ship has to be involved, and sure enough when they
head to the cock pit, they are shot at by the pilot. Pudushka has to take the
controls, while she is busy Eclair goes below and tries to stop the Orbital
Officers, she is doing fine, but she ends up having some trouble, when Sinistra
and Dextera show up and save her. It was a whole elaborate plan, between Eclair,
Lumiere, and Dextera and Sinistra. In the end they uncover the whole plot and
disband the Orbital Officers.
Episode 7: Trial/Child
A child by the name of Timothy Constance is now the heir to the Rosenfelt Group,
which control about 7.14% of the wealth in the galaxy. Tim's father, Albert left
him and his mother when he was young to become the heir, and now that his father
died, Tim is now supposed to take over the group. Eclair, and Lumiere are asked
to escort him to the location to take over Rosenfelt Group. Under the terms of
the will, if Tim doesn't reach his destination within the designated time, he
forfeits his inheirantance, and a huge war will happen to decide who takes over.
Eclair, and Lumiere mange to make it in time, thanks to the help of two new
ES-Members that are introduced, Viola and Cesario, they help Eclair and Lumiere
escort Tim to sign papers to make him the new head of Rosenfelt Group.
The planet the Rosenfelt group is based from is a very Noble planet, and they
want nothing to do with Eclair, Lumiere, Armbrust, and Tim. Some of the Nobles
challenge Tim to a machine race. If Tim wins they will accept Tim as the new
head, if he loses Tim has to admit that he doesn't have it to be the head, and
is just a lowly common person. Eclair lends Tim Donaschlaq, her machine, and he
uses it to race. Lumiere, however, is concerned about Armbrust. She noticed
Armbrust talking to some of the nobles and she tells Eclair to watch out for
Armbrust, since he might be up to something. Tim does manage to win the race,
but not before being attacked by another level of GOTT. The Management
Association is a secondary level of GOTT, and has it's on ES-Members, that they
have sent to cause Tim trouble. Armbrust takes some videos of what's going on
and reports them back to GOTT. When Eclair and Lumiere fine out they are upset.
Armbrust is the one who conviced the nobels to do the dangerous race. It was all
a lure to find out if the Management association is conspiracy against GOTT.
Escorting of Tim was just a secondary thing, and not important. This is the
first episode where it seems that some underlying things are going on at the top
of GOTT.
Episode 8: Forbidden/Instrument
Lumiere and Éclair were assigned a very important mission. The Geo-Sorter is a
highly dangerous weapon that is being smuggled. Éclair and Lumiere are asked to
locate the main circulation routes that the Geo-Sorter is running though and
close it off. The first thing they have to do is find out all data about travel
routes for E-3 which is a material that is linked to Geo, and the Geo-Sorter
routes. Lumiere hacks into the energy commissions computers and retrieves a huge
amount of data, but she finds that she isn't alone in the vast computer realm.
She begins to crack and lo and behold she finds another ES-Member called
Tweedledee. Tweedledee is an upper level ES-Member, and at first Éclair is
stunned to find out that the Director had to get a higher level ES-Member to
watch them. That isn't the case, and Tweedledee suggests that they should work
together since they are on the same case. Tweedledee's partner is her brother,
Tweedledum. Tweedledee and Lumiere go about analyzing all the information that
was gathered until they find the trade coordinates that Geo-Sorter is running
on. Armbrust is less then thrilled. He suggests that something must be wrong,
since even with the greatest technology there is no way that Tweedledee/Lumiere
could have gathered the information that quickly without one of them already
knowing about it. Tweedledum scoffs at the idea, but Armbrust lets it go and
they begin to prepare to intercept the Geo smugglers. The whole group arrives at
an inactive asteroid that is the main location and they are stunned to find that
everyone there is hauling ass to leave. In stealth mode they overhears that
everyone is leaving before the GOTT members arrive. Éclair is stunned to find
out that they already know that GOTT is coming and that the information had to
of been leaked. Éclair requests an emergency arrest warrant but she isn’t' able
to connect to home base.
The smugglers are going to get away, and Éclair just decides to go ahead and
arrest. She leaves the stealth shield and with everyone else behind she goes to
work. At GOTT, Director Eclipse hears Eclair's call, but won't answer. Something
is going on with her and a mysterious person she is talking to. What is going on
isn't known, but she is ignored Éclair for a reason. At the asteroid, things are
getting heated, when the smuggler in a desperate move activate the Geo-Sorter
bomb. Tweedledee and Tweedledum try to stop it and order Éclair and Lumiere out.
Éclair and Lumiere go to leave but surprise the bro/sister combo when they show
up with Alv and Dveger. Tweedledee and Tweedledum are upper ES-Members, but Alv/Dveger
are even higher ranking and are stronger. They easily absorb the bomb and all is
safe. Things do get strange when Éclair sees Dveger talking to Eclipse. Armbrust
also talks to Eclipse later that day about not giving up on someone.
Episode 9: Mirage/Snare
Something isn't right on Dardanos. The Planet Dardanos has been experience some
abnormal happening. Top economic figures have been disappearing in Dardanos.
GOTT was investigating the case when one of their SO Members assigned to look at
Dardanos also disappeared; however he didn't disappear until his final repot
came in detailing what he was doing. Director Eclipse has picked Éclair for the
job of going into Dardanos and investigating further. Lumiere has stayed behind,
but she is also feeling ill so she isn’t much help to Éclair at that moment.
When Éclair gets into Dardanos she notices some weird things. First is that
Dardanos' is on a 3 day work week, with 4 days off. This is really unusual. She
also notices that even for a day off, the city seems to be bare. The people she
witnesses all seem to have a glazed look in their eyes, like they are in their
own little world. She arrives at the Dardanos GOTT branch and talks to
Boeufvoltz, and Horus. Boeufvoltz and Horus are GOTT members, but Éclair is even
more surprised to find out that they don't know much about what's going on.
Another strange occurrence is when she goes to one of the missing leader’s
house. Lux Verrachio is one of the missing economic leaders. When Éclair
arrives, she finds Rita Verrachio. What is strange is that Rita Verrachio says
that she was never married, and that she has no idea who Lux Verrachio is, even
though Rita is living in the house Verrachio owns. Like the rest of the city,
Rita seems to be out of it. Éclair goes from home to home to find information on
the missing people, but they are either confused, or they have no knowledge of
who she is talking about. Éclair finally goes to the last place where the SO
Member was located. Before she can go further Boeufvoltz and Horus act strange
and a trance-like voice tell her that they should leave. She slaps both men, and
they come too, but they wonder why Éclair slapped them. She has enough, and
decides to go into the run down apartment building to find out what is going on
Dardanos.
They begin to search the building and find a room where evidence of the murders
of the economic leaders, and the missing GOTT member is found. Before Éclair can
analyze the evidence they are shot at from Dardanos Special Police Units. Éclair
goes on the offensive, but just as she is about to attack something stops her
which causes her to make a last minute getaway. All three take off in a stolen
police unit. Horus is trying to crack the government’s terminal to find more
information, when he manages to do it easily. It's kind of odd that a government
would have all their information open and not highly protected. Lumiere is also
looking at Dardanos computer system and both find out what is going on. There is
a magnetic pulse that is being amplified that is spreading throughout Dardanos.
This pulse puts people into a dream-like trance and caused people to lose
memories, which explain how the family members of the missing people don't
acknowledge that they are family. Éclair does some quick thinking and manages to
locate where the pulse is coming from. When she first entered Dardanos she was
in a huge white room, where she had to talk to a customs agent to get permission
o enter Dardanos. She realizes hat this must be the place where the pulses are
starting from. When she arrives, she finds the man who talked to her dead. As
soon as she enters she becomes overwhelmed by a pulse and memories of her past
flash before her. Lumiere also makes her way to Dardanos. She is really sick,
since the pulses are affecting her. When she finds Éclair, the first thing she
does is to destroy a radio that's transmitting, and Armbrust is close behind,
and destroys the room and all the equipment. As soon as he does this every
person on Dardanos snap out of their trance-like state, like nothing happened.
Éclair is really feeling sick, but she takes a day off to recuperate.
Episode 10: Rebirth/Slave
This is an episode where the plot starts to begin in Kiddy Grade. After what
happened to Éclair on Dardanos, she has taken some time off. Her nights have
been filled with nightmares, things from the past that she doesn't remember. We
witness war between the Planetary Union against the Planetary Republic. In the
middle of all this is a girl who is younger, but resembles Éclair. Is this
Éclair from the past? It's not quite sure, but these images she keeps seeing
trouble her. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, since
Lumiere on Dardanos mentioned something about not losing Éclair again, and even
Éclair said that these feelings are happening again. In a dream sequence we
witness Éclair talking to a mirror image of herself. Éclair is a codename, and
she had had people before who held that name, but what she is seeing is herself.
From the talk it can be assumed that Éclair has always been the same one from
before even after dying she has returned. This is a mystery that hopefully will
be explained as this episode goes on.
The mirror image of Éclair plagues her, but is it really Éclair? IMO I think
it's more of a figure, that's from the past. This Éclair is stained with blood,
and the cycle will continue so in a sense Éclair will never die. Éclair goes on
her day, when she gets called to GOTT. Her and Lumiere have a mission to
complete. Two ES-Members, Eioh and Anoh are in the Planet Pilea investigating
smuggling that has been going on. They have been found and Éclair/Lumiere are
asked to go and help them escape. During the mission, Éclair is totally
aggressive, and seems to have a death wish. She even gets into the path of a
missile. When things look like she might have died, se wakes up in a hospital.
She's fine, but in her sleep she has come to terms with the past of the codename
Éclair.
Episode 11: Set/Free
More trouble is in store for GOTT. The Planet Aure is a well known tourist
attraction. Recently demonstrations against the government have been hindering
trade and export that Aure threaten to sue GOTT if they didn't help them
quickly. Éclair and Lumiere are sent down to remedy the problem. Éclair is
really excited since Aure is almost an exact replica of the Planet Earth that
she always hears about. Another aspect of Aure that is unusual is that the
planet doesn't have a set government, but is run by Novelles. Worse yet, is that
the civilians living are considered citizens. Everyone person who is employed
works for the nouvelles, and hence they give up the rights of being citizens,
and are just workers. Éclair wants to know why Aure won't treat its people
better, this way demonstrations would cease, and trade will continue. The
Vice-Minister won't listen, and instructs Éclair to show the protesters the
power of a GOTT ES-Members. Éclair is reluctant, but her mission is to help Aure
gain economic stability again. That means she has to force a whole group of
people home. When she tries she is met with rocks, tomatoes, and other objects
being thrown at her. She doesn't hurt anyone, but she does end up showing some
of her power which scares of the protesters.
After the incident, Éclair is a mess and goes to her hotel to wash up, but they
won't let her in since she is dirty looking. She decides to go to a water
fountain, but before she can she sees a girl in the path of a car. Éclair runs
and saves the girl and we reunite in a park fountain. Éclair is washed up, and
the girl and her older brother offer to take Éclair somewhere to eat. Éclair,
Lumiere, and Armbrust go to a little diner where everyone is enjoying
themselves. Things soon change though when a man who was a demonstrator shows up
and recognizes Éclair. When everyone finds out that Éclair is from GOTT,
attitudes change and she is forced to leave. Later that day a grand revolution
is planned. The civilians against the novelles. The novelles have an ace up
their sleeve which happens to be Éclair and Lumiere. Éclair begins to witness
brutal murders of innocent people. In a rage she jumps in and stops the novelles
military. She begins to argue that what they are doing is unfair, but at that
moment, the Vice-Minister calls Director Eclipse. Eclipse apologizes to the
dismay of Éclair. Upon hearing this a huge change starts to happen in Éclair. In
a rage an illuminating light surrounds her and her power is increased by a huge
amount. She disobeys Eclipse’s orders, and stops the novelles military. Lumiere
gets involved and halts the mechanical novelles devices. The revolution
continues and the civilians end up capturing the capital. The Vice-Minister is
killed by his fellow novelles, and GOTT is now to blame. Eclipse is getting
calls from Galactic agencies, but she laughs them off. That however doesn't stop
the fact that Lumiere and Éclair were dismissed and are no longer GOTT
ES-Members.
Episode 12: Frozen/Life
Things for Éclair and Lumiere are hairy. All the other ES-Members are shocked to
find out what happened with Éclair and Lumiere. They are even more surprised
since Éclair’s and Lumiere's registration as ES-Members are gone, and basically
that means that they are to be "purged". What this means, isn’t sure, but Éclair
and Lumiere are wanted by GOTT ASAP. Lumiere has plans to go to a space colony
to hide out while things blow over. Armbrust informs that that GOTT has probably
sent out SO Members to find Éclair and Lumiere and when they do they will
commence with purging. When Éclair and Lumiere arrive they decide to get to a
bar to grab something to eat and drink. Elsewhere, the SO Members from GOTT have
already located Éclair and Lumiere's location. The captain of the crew is
nervous since the possibility of a head on clash with the ES-Members means that
survival is slim. he is so worried, that he bends the rules a bit, and wants to
work out a negotiation before he thinks of attacking. While all this is going
on, the other ES-Members are contemplating what happened. Most seem to be
worried, that Éclair and Lumiere won't get captured, which means that eventually
they will have to be sent out to hunt them down.
Éclair and Lumiere head out and they soon notice that SO Members are in the area
watching them. They keep on walking, and make a run for it. Éclair soon notices
that even though they are running no one is attacking them. It isn't until they
get to their ship that they are cornered. Two teams of SO Members were waiting
for them. They are asked to surrender, but Éclair refuses. SO Members threaten
to blow up the ship, witch huge bombs which not only would kill Éclair and
Lumiere, but take the lives of half the colony. Éclair is torn, but she refuses
to surrender. In quick fashion she is successful in breaking apart the bombs.
The SO Members do have an ace. Armbrust turned Éclair and Lumiere over, but he
meant no harm, however he now has a dilemma. The SO Captain is going to activate
the D Command. This command targets all ES-Members, and causes the nano cells
implanted in their bodies to expand, and eventually all organs will be crushed.
Armbrust steps forward to stop this. By the actions, it seems that Armbrust
isn't an ordinary inspector, and he might be a high class ES Member for the
Galactic Union, which is above GOTT. We learn more about Éclair and Lumiere.
Éclair and Lumiere are young, but both have lived long lives. It seems that
Éclair has been around many times, but her memory is always erased. the weird
thing is that the last time her memory was erased; she went through the same
thing that is happening to her right now. Éclair and Lumiere are well, but more
trouble is aiming for them.
