Uzumaki Naruto
A 12 year old ninja in training, Naruto makes a hobby out of causing trouble. Being an orphan, Naruto has no one to look up to or hear good things from. Instead, he is shunned by the adults in the village because of an event that happened 12 years prior. A Demon fox attacked the village at this time and many were killed. In the end, the Fourth Hokage defeated the demon. The Nine Tails Demon Fox was sealed in the navel of Naruto when he was a newborn baby. The Fourth Hokage wished that Naruto would be viewed as a hero, so the Third made the rule that no one was to speak of what happened. Only a few people know this but their view of Naruto as the demon itself causes their children to treat Naruto badly also. This cause Naruto to act the way he does. Although he has had a sad life, he is constantly laughing or causing mischief. He likes ramen and miso and can be easily controlled with his stomach. Naruto is determined to get the whole village to acknowledge him by becoming the next Hokage. He is always making up weird and funny skills such as his Sexy no Jutsu. This is a devastating technique in which he transforms himself into a sexy blond naked chick with the ability to make any man’s nose bleed. This leaves his opponent totally helpless. Naruto ends up stealing the Scroll of Secrets and learns the Kage Bunshin, shadow clones, which he uses during tough battles.





Hokage-sama
The elder of the ninjas and the third Hakage. He uses a crystal ball to check up on the happenings of the village and the mischief of Naruto. He is very wise and seems to wish for people to understand the boy even though he is exasperated by his antics. Although he is the most powerful and skilled ninja, this does not stop him from falling for Naruto’s Sexy no jutsu attack.





Iruka
Naruto’s teacher. He, like Naruto, is also an orphan. His parents were killed by the Nine Tails Demon Fox, 12 years prior. He had no one to compliment him growing up and acted much the way that Naruto does, acting like a idiot for attention. When Naruto takes the Scroll of Secrets, Iruka goes to find him and uncovers the real person behind it. He defends Naruto to Mizuki and is the first to acknowledge the boy. He has a soft spot in his heart for him, checking up on him and buying him ramen.





Mizuki
Another teacher that used Naruto to get his hands on the Scroll of Secrets. He tells Naruto the truth about his past, the fact that he is the Demon Fox. Mizuki attempts to kill both Naruto and Irika, but luckily, Naruto uses a skill he learned from the scroll to create clones of himself which defeat Mizuki easily. '








Konohamaru
The Third Hokage-sama’s grandson. Konohamaru is determined to become the fifth Hokage. He is constantly trying to sneak attack his grandfather in order to take the title but always ends up tripping over his own feet. When he witnesses Naruto defeat his grandfather with the Sexy no jutsu, he makes Naruto his boss and follows him around attempting to learn the technique. In the end, he does it successfully, but it doesn’t have the effect that Naruto’s does. He ends up becoming friends and rivals with Naruto.





Ebisu
Konohamaru’s tutor. Ebisu thinks that if Koohamaru learns ninjutsu from him he will become the fifth Hokage easily. He doesn’t like Naruto because of his past and attempts to get Konohamaru away from him. He brags a lot and thinks he is all powerful. Too bad Naruto takes him down easily with his Harem no jutsu technique. Using his shadow clone and his Sexy no justu skills, Naruto creates a harem of pretty girls that takes Ebisu out.





Haruno Sakura
One of the students that graduates with Naruto from the ninja academy. She has pink hair and is extremely competitive! She is infatuated with Sasuke and would do anything for him to acknowledge her. Sakura has an inner self that speaks her mind violently and is constantly cheering or expressing her innermost thoughts. She is a good ninja, but is not as skilled at Sasuke and Naruto. She is teamed up with the two which is both good and bad. She gets to be near Sasuke but has to put up with Naruto, who likes her.





Uchiha Sasuke
Another of the students who graduates with Naruto. He is the top of his class and is extremely serious. He is also the boy who Sakura and the other female students like. He is a survivor of the Uchiha clan and lives for their revival. Extremely good at skills that are beyond that of a low level ninja, he surprises his teachers, Naruto and Sakura. Sasuke does have a darker side. He want nothing more than to find a certain man in order to kill him. Because of this he will work hard at becoming stronger and more skilled. When he is grouped with Naruto and Sakura, at first, he thinks of them as a hindrance. He even sparks a competitiveness with Naruto. Even though, he is impressed by Naruto and works well with him even though they argue constantly.





Yamanaka Ino
A rival of Sakura, she has beat her in the past at the academy. She also likes Sasuke and fights over the seat next to him when they have graduated. She is paired up with Shikamaru and Chouji, much to her disappointment.








Hyuga Hinata
Another of the ninja students. She is quiet and seems to like Naruto although he doesn’t notice her.







Inuzuka Kiba
Another of the ninja academy students.










Aburame Shino
Another of the ninja academy’s students.








Nara Shikamaru
Seems interested in Ino at first but soon is annoyed by her. He bumps into Naruto while he and Sasuke are staring each other down after graduation. This caused them to lock lips and earns Naruto the hate of all the female ninja students.





Akimichi Chouji
An overweight ninja boy who is constantly stuffing his face. He also looks like he is wearing a pair of panties on his head in my opinion. He gets matched up with Ino and Shikamau.








Hatake Kakashi
Team 7’s Jounin, upper level ninja, leader. He has an extremely hard test and has never passed a student until Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura all stand together as one against him, showing for the first time teamwork. He wears his head protector over his left eye. It isn’t until later that the team learns the reason. He is known as the Sharingan user. His eye, which looks pretty evil, can see through ninja techniques and allows him to copy them. It is rumored that he has copied more than 1000 different techniques from his opponents. On the other hand, his eye is the same as the man that Sasuke hates so much and wants to kill.





Tora and Madam Shijimi
Fire Country Lord’s Wife who lost her pet cat. She pays for Team 7’s first mission, which is a low level one. It is clear why her cat had run away, as she practically smothers it when it is returned to her. Poor kitty!







Tazuna
Super Bridge Construction Expert who paid for a low level mission of protection. It isn’t until Team 7 comes up against the Demon Brothers who try to kill Tazuna that the real story behind the attack is revealed. Tazuna is from the Country of Wave, which is very poor. He is building a bridge that will connect the country to larger countries to ensure better trade. Thus, he became the target of Gatoh, who controls the shipping in the area. Luckily, Team 7 agrees to continue to protect him even after they learn of his story.





Demon Brothers
These two ninja, working together, attack Group 7 and injure Naruto. They are from the Hidden Mist village and use a puddle of water to conceal themselves as the group passes. They attack with weapons dipped in poison but are no match for Kakashi who takes care of them.





Momochi Zabuza
The Devil of the Hidden Mist. He is a former member of the Hidden Village of Mist’s Assassination and Tactics Special Squad but was exiled because of terrible incident when he was a child. He killed 100 students when he had not earned the right to become a ninja and did it with little thought or remorse. Because of this the rules for his village were changed and he left. He is known for his silent killing technique and his water clones make fighting him difficult. He is blood thirsty and attempts to kill Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi. In the end, his skills are copied by Kakashi and he is defeated by his own techniques. But before Kakashi can end it, Zabuza is killed by a Hidden Mist Hunter-nin who is just a boy.





Gatoh
Marine transportation billionaire. He is president of the Gatoh company and one of richest men in that world. He operates underground gangs and ninjas to smuggle drugs and contraband and takes over companies and countries when they catch his eye. He hires assassins to try and kill Tazuna because of the bridge project he is working on.








Haku
The youth who has been hunting down Momochi Zabuza for his betrayal and his crimes, at least that is what Naruto and his companions think. The kid is very mysterious, wearing a mask, hiding in the shadows and even attacking while Zabuza was distracted and weakened from his fight with Kakashi. This character’s appearance and the assassination of Zabuza anger Naruto because the Hidden Mist Hunter is around the same age as the three teammates but much more powerful. The youth departs just as mysteriously, taking Zabuza with him. It turns out he is a companion of Zabuza. He impersonates a Hidden Mist Hunter ninja and pretends to kill Zabuza in order to save him from Kakashi. Haku strikes Zabuza in the neck with some needles, placing him in a near death state. He successfully tricks Kakashi for the moment and gets Zabuza to safety. Although he is just a boy, Haku is very skilled and very protective of Zabuza. He easily takes care of two of Gatoh’s henchmen when they attempt to attack him, moving so swiftly he disarms them before they realize what happened.








Inari
The grandson of Zabuza. He is very blunt and pessimistic about the fighting abilities of Naruto and his friends and pretty much about life in general. Inari hold great sadness in his heart for his adoptive father. The group soon learn about his past and why he cries all the time in secret. A man named Kaiza saved him from drowning when he was younger and became a role model to him. When Kaiza was killed, Inari felt his father betrayed him and his personality changes. Where he used to smile all the time, he now is always angry and sad. He keeps a picture of his father that is torn from the image that hangs on the wall of the house and cries over it when he is reminded of him.





Pochi
Inari’s Dog when he was a child. He is stolen by Akane and his friends and renamed Shooting Star. When Inari doesn’t attempt to save him, the dog turns on his master in his time of need, leaving Inari in the water and swimming to safety.





Akane and Friends
Three bullies that steal Inari’s dog Pochi and rename it Shooting Star. They are cruel and force Inari to watch as Akane throws the dog into the water to drown. They then taunt Inari, who is afraid and can not save the dog because he cant swim. Akane then kicks Inari into the water too. They do nothing to help him when they see he can not swim. They end up getting yelled at by Kaiza who saves Inari.





Kaiza
A strong and brave fisherman who came to the water country following his dreams. He saved Inari from drowning when the child was pushed in by some bullies. He saves a section of the village from flooding and does other brave deeds. His actions make him close to Inari, who adopts him as a father. It also earns him the name of “hero” of the country. When Gatoh and his men arrive and take an interest in the country, Kaiza probably attempts to resist them. He is labeled a terrorist by Gatoh who ordered him beaten and both his arms broken. He was displayed publicly and executed in front of the country’s people, including Inari. Inari felt betrayed by his adoptive father who promised to protect him and the country using his two strong arms. From this point on, Inari changed, believing his father let him down and that there are no such things as heroes.





Tsunami
She is Inari’s mother. Her husband died when Inari was still a baby. When Kaiza arrives, she becomes attached to him just as Inari does, welcoming him into the family and allowing him to become a father figure to Inari. When Kaiza is killed, she demands that Tazuna not talk of him and become extremely upset if his name is mentioned.
